HRMS for Sage CRM will soon include a new integration with Sage 300 Payroll. It will again be a read only integration with payroll showing check history under the Employee listing in Sage CRM.
With the current HR Module, you are able to view all necessary information about an employee, including personal information, necessary paperwork, and wages. This also includes things like any vacation and sick time they have banked up, and how much of it they have used thus far. You can see past communications and changes in their information, such as any changes in their salary. However, there is currently no payroll option for HR departments. The closest option Sage CRM’s HRMS has is the ‘Wages’ section.
This is what Sage 300 looks to help with.
Formerly known as Accpac Payroll, this software will allow HR to see the check number, how much the check was for, the pay period, and the posting status. The integration with Sage 300 will be read only, which means it won’t be for sending out checks, just for keeping track of them. Employees also won’t have access to this module. It is strictly for administrative purposes.
Ultimately, the goal is to integrate the Sage CRM HR system with many payroll systems. The first integration will be with the Sage 300 Payroll module, which will happen April 2017.
